We will start your removal at a time chosen and agreed by you to ensure the removal is completed in the time frame required. We are flexible to suit your needs. We have started a move at 04:00am in the past for a customer who wanted the move completed by 10:00am! Our breakages record is excellent, we have only had one breakage in 2017 and even then the customer said it was a very brittle item that was destined to break very soon! All your goods are insured while in our care so in the worse case scenario if we were at fault we reimburse you, otherwise we can claim on our insurance on you behalf to replace the damaged item. You can pay for your removal costs in advance if you prefer or upon completion of your move. We do not require a deposit in most cases. You will be advised when contacting us if a deposit is felt necessary. We are able to accept direct payments such as paypal or BACS. Please note we only accept cheques for moving costs paid in advance and cheques will need to have cleared before your move starts if you choose to pay by this method. It depends on how long the move will take to complete, how many removal persons will be needed to complete your move in the timescale you require, and what the access is like to your property. e.g. if our removal vehicle has to park 1/2 a mile away from your front door and walk each item into your property, this will take longer than if the vehicle can pull up on a driveway immediately next to the property door. Items are only dismantled where necessary and if any of your items are dismantled during the moving process we always re-assemble your items for you and place them in the correct positions/room at the new location. Not as standard, we find most people pack their own belongings with boxes they source themselves. However yes we can provide boxes and packing materials, and indeed can do all the packing of all your breakables, large or valuable items if required. No you don’t need to unless you want to pack these items separately. Our skilled removal team will move your drawers full and we empty wardrobes for you and store your hanging clothes upright on hanging rails while in transit to avoid creasing. We do request that customers who are doing their own packing of their belongings remove heavy items such as books or breakable items from drawers. Yes. We will move all and any items that you have told us need moving in any out buildings or parts of your property. Just let us know what needs moving and we will move it! The number of personnel provided will depend on your needs and the size and timescale of your move. We can provide a van and driver only option where the driver does no lifting, right through to 1, 2, 3, and 4 person teams. More team members are available if necessary but generally a 4 person team is sufficient for most moves. Yes if there is a spare passenger seat but it will depend on how many removal team members were needed for your move if there is space in the vehicle. The majority of removals are completed using Iveco Daly vehicles, however vehicle size used for your move will be determined by the size of your move and other factors such as the ease or difficulty of access to a property.
